In this tutorial we are going to improve the search engine and filters of the Listable template.

The Listable template can be buy here or if you are a premium member you can download it from the members area.
We are going to improve the search engine and filters of the Listable template with the FacetWP plugin.
The Facetwp plugin you can buy here or you can download it for free from the premium area.
The default Listable template already has filters but if we add FacetWP we can make filters like the following:
FacetWP is a very powerful plugin to create custom filters and search engines, in addition, the Listable template has integration options for this plugin, making integration with it a lot easier.
Once FacetWP is installed, its options appear in settings –> facetwp
If we go to the "Facet" tab we find the screen where we can create the filters that we can later add to our website:
To link each filter made in facetwp with our template we have to go to the Listings menu –> options –> FacetWP
On this screen we can drag the available facets to the specific place we want them to appear:
Listing Archive:
Here we will drag the filters that we want to appear in the lists, as we can see in the following screen:
NavigationBar:
Those dragged to this place will appear in the navigation bar:
Front Page Hero
Filters added here will go directly to the main page search engine.
