Create order manually in WooCommerce (Video)

Hello guys,

In this tutorial we are going to learn how to create orders manually to leave them prepared so that the client only has to pay. We will add all the data and products to the order and we only leave the task of paying to the client.

Why would we want to do that?
Let's imagine that a customer calls us because he wants to buy something from our store but does not have time to search for the products, add the billing information and everything necessary to buy.

Or simply be a person who does not like to do it or is bad at it.

In these cases we can do all the work for him and pass him a link in which the only thing the client has to do is click on accept the order and pay it.
It may seem very easy to place an order but believe me that these things happen and a customer can ask you for it.

The process to place an order manually is very simple, although there is a point that can go unnoticed and you can go crazy. Go for it:

Step 01:

Go to Woocommerce –> Orders –> Add Order:

make-order-manual

Step 02:

We fill in all the customer's data, leaving the order in the status "Pending payment" and in the "Products Order" block we add all the products we need.

By doing so you will see that the price of the product appears to the right of each product but in the total sum it is zero, so passing the order link to the customer will not work:

zero-order-total

Step 03:

So that this does not happen to you, what you have to do is save and click on "calculate total":

calculate-total-ok

Now when you save the order a link will appear that says "Pay":

pay-button

Step 04:

That is the link that you have to share with the customer so that they can pay for the order.

I hope you liked it 😉

Oscar
