In today's tutorial we are going to see how to create a map with multiple points in WordPress.
On many occasions we will need to create maps with several points on the same map or change the marker that comes by default in google maps.
For all this we are going to use the WP Google Map Plugin that you can download from here:

This plugin will help us create a Map with several location points within it.

The first thing we need to do is install the plugin. We are going to Add Plugin, in the search engine we place WP Google Map Plugin and click on install:
We activate it and we go to the Google Map Option, we choose Add Map and we can start configuring our map. We put a name, width, height and a Zoom level
Once I create my map, I have to create locations to that map.
I click on Add Location and complete the following data: Title of the location, I must put an address and the latitude along with the longitude.
So I can create all the locations I want, once this is done. I can go to Manage Maps and edit the map to be able to show all the locations that I have created.
I select and click Save Map
Now, if I go back to Manage Maps, I can see on the right side, that I have a short code that I can add to any entry that I create in my post. In this way I will make the created map appear.
Once I have done all of the above, I will be able to see that my Map shows the two locations
You could also make the thumbtacks change their shape, this could help make it easier to locate different places.
To do this, I go to: Add Marker Category, fill in the category name and select Choose
Now I go to the Choose Icons tab and I can choose from all the available icons out there.
Once this category is created, I go back to the location where I want to change the chinchero. I select the box of the name I have created and save.
We can appreciate that now when I see the input and the map it already appears with another mark:
As you can see, it is a super useful function because we can create maps with many places. Still using the free version.
