I am going to tell you how I do to set up my websites locally.
I have tried many different ways to do it and of all I stay with ServerPress.
I do not know a simpler and faster way to set up a WordPress website locally. ServerPress allows you to create up to 3 websites at the same time for free and if you need more than 3 at the same time it is already paid ($99.95).
Not only does it allow you to create the website, but it also has many features that help you when testing.

Before using ServerPress, I have used MAMP and Vagrant. MAMP is very good but it does not reach the ease of Serverpress. But with its free version you can set up as many websites as you want.
And Vagrant is very good but it is complex so unless you have a lot of knowledge about servers or you want to "play" I do not recommend it because you will waste a lot of time.

Hello Jordi,
The URL where you can see all the created websites is http://localhost/
Additionally, you can access it from the Destopserver program where it says "Sites."

I'm getting started with Desktop Server. I don't know why but when I finish working, I turn off the computer and turn it back on the next day, the localhost address no longer recognizes it and I have to start from scratch. Do you know why this could happen?
