A few days ago a new WordPress update arrived.
The most popular plugins in the history of WordPress are finally coming to WordPress.
It's amazing that until now we couldn't add an image or video natively in WordPress without doing it directly in html.
It is true that if you manage well with html you had no problems, but if not, it was not so easy to add a simple image in WordPress. There were external plugins to do it or you could use the old trick of creating a post in visual and copy the html and add it in a text widget.
All that has passed to better history, now it is supported natively by WordPress.
Now we have a kind of html-widget Unlike the text widget, we can write with formatting, that is, add bold, italics, etc., just as we do in entries or posts. Very comfortable.
We also have a Video Widget to be able to add videos uploaded to our own server or a video from an external website such as YouTube or Vimeo.
even a type of Widget to add audio.
