In this tutorial we are going to see how to create a template for all your blog posts and that all our blog posts automatically appear with the design created in Elementor.
That is, we create a design and all our posts will be seen with that design.
This is really useful since once the template is created, we can create the posts from Gutenberg but the posts will be seen with the design that we have generated in Elementor. 😉
To be able to do this tutorial you need Elementor Pro.
Once installed Elementor Pro we go to the menu Templates » Theme Builder

Now we create a new template, we click on Add new and select in the first dropdown Single Post and give it a name:
On the next screen we add the template we want to use:
The template that we are going to choose provides us with the design but it is not yet going to take the text of the post automatically.
What we have to do now is change the demo text to the real text of our posts.
Add Post Title in Elementor on all posts AUTOMATICALLY
For example, to add the actual post title we have to edit the text “The story Behind ” for the post title tag:
If we want to preview the content with a specific post, we can do it from the preview option (eye icon)» Settings:
And on the screen that appears we choose the entry in which we want to preview the content:
Add Post SUMMARY in Elementor on all posts AUTOMATICALLY
As we have done with the title, we can add the summary of the post below the title. How is it done? It's the same, we just choose another field, the exception field
Where does the abstract or excerpt come from? From the post edit page:
Add Featured Image as Post Background Image in Elementor on all posts AUTOMATICALLY
To do so we will follow the same dynamic.
This time we are going to change the image of the clouds in the background for the featured image that we have added as the featured image of the post.
To do this we go to the layer where the background » style is and we modify the background with a dynamic label
And we are doing the same procedure with the rest of the fields.
Add Author Image in Elementor in all posts AUTOMATICALLY
Add Author Name and link in Elementor in all posts AUTOMATICALLY
Add Post Content in Elementor on all posts AUTOMATICALLY
First I delete the text fields that come from test.
Now, to add the body text field we have to add the field from the widgets that Elementor has:
Add the template to all Posts automatically
Once we have created our template we are going to tell it that we want it to be used for all the posts.
For this, we will Publish and we choose the conditions in which we want this template to be displayed. In our example on all inputs:
Notice how powerful this option is, we can add different templates for different categories or any other filter that comes to mind.
If we have done everything correctly we will already have our post created with the Elementor template even if we are creating the entry from Gutenberg.
Here the end result:
Don't tell me it's not wonderful 😉?
I hope you liked it, see you in the next tutorial!!!
