For the most nostalgic, to tell you that installing WordPress is no longer what it used to be 🤣🤣🤣
A few years ago, installing WordPress meant:
- Hire a Hosting and a Domain
- Download WordPress from WordPress.org
- Create an ftp on your server
- Upload the files
- Create a MySQL database
- Create a database user
- Pray that everything will work 😜
Current hosting has evolved so much that they do everything for us.
Our mission is to simply click a button to get WordPress installed instantly.
In the following videos I will show you how it is done in various hostings so that you can see the differences.

- Although the current hosts do all the work for us, it is a good idea to do it manually once in a lifetime to understand how everything works.
- If you have little experience, install WordPress directly on the hosting. If you work locally then you will have to upload the website to the server and it is not so easy if you do not have experience.
